Checking to see if anyone here has experience with one of these. This has picked up some traction and gained popularity within the last few weeks from what I've seen. Is it useless? Probably. Does it waste ammo? Depends on how you look at it. Is it fun?? Hell yea I bet it is.
Has anyone been able to get theirs to run suppressed? I've seen posts that most have not gotten them to run more than a few rounds with a suppressor.

so here is my question- I'm seeing more and more of these on thing like the TX22 and 10/22. I know the AR platform has had some legal challenges (and won) being a forced reset trigger where it's the separate movement of the trigger to make them run like this (super safety and FRT).

But what about these and others? Is it more like the "glock switch" and illegal modifications to make them run full auto, or is it a forced reset trigger which has been legalized?

I haven't bothered to check into the newest versions, I was just curious about the mechanics of all of these new "triggers" and if they are all forced reset systems?

Skip to 7:21 to see it function in slow-mo. This particular version for the TX-22 is a FRT.

From what I've seen, most of these are a FRT in some shape or another... other than the glock switch. I'm mostly interested in these for 22lr. Please don't shoot my dogs.

And to answer you question with a side note- I'm playing around with an AR22 and it's pretty difficult to get them to run smoothly with a can, particularly on shorter barrels.
I've been holding out on installing the one I have because I've heard it might take a bit of time to get it right for 22lr in a AR.

Ditto. I"m waiting on some lighter weight springs for the CMMG bolt carrier/conversion, but should get it to the range later this week to see where I am so far. Not a cheap way to blow through some 22lr ammo. :)

Have you picked up any of the bore buddy weights? Im thinking of grabbing the adjustable weight and different springs to start out with in hopes that will get it running without much more tweaking needed.

I ordered one last week and suppose to be here Friday. Looks like a simple install. I'll report back after a trip to the range on Sunday.

Please do! Would love to hear how it goes. Share if you can get it to run with a suppressor reliably if you plan to do so.
