Just an update.

First up was the 1862 Pocket Conversion 380 Auto. Light, easy and easy enough to sight at 5 yards. Just place the big bead on top of the hammer and it hits in the 9 ring. Good enough for get off me. I need to practice with all three but this is a good start.

Afterwards, I shot the 1872 Opentop in 38 Special. Having fired 158s before, I shot 125s this time. It doesn't like them as well and this one is the hardest to shoot. The tiny barrel mounted rear sight is all but invisible but when I think all of the horse is on top of that rear sight, it hits in the 9 ring. More accurate than I thought it'd be since Uberti provided a cylinder with .360 throats.....bullets just fall on thru! I suspect it'd be fine to fire lots of +P in this one!

Hi Force 44 made a liar of me. After a spontaneous disassembly of the ejector housing, I soldered it up again, but this time with a 38 special case to act as a sleeve increasing the join considerably. This should hold!

Last on deck was the 45 ACP FrankinTop. Best shooter of the three. Easiest to sight of the three. Half a horse above the rear sight puts 230g ball a touch low at 5 yards. But the group is great, someone-else could likely shoot it better. A snappy shooter, it dosn't kick back hard but torques enough to really feel it in the wrist.
