These are cool pistols. I picked one at Adventure Outdoors during the day after thanksgiving sale for $329. The recoil is noticeably reduced. I also shot it in almost pitch black dark and did not get any light wash that everyone knocks these for. The angled ports discharge the flame away from you focal point/sights. Now getting your face near it, probably not going to feel great at all.

I just need to learn how to shoot a pistol worth a damn....
