Don't know how far this is for you but Range, Guns, and Safes off 85N just past spaghetti junction has a great club that meets on Tuesday nights around 6pm I believe. You don't need to be a member. I think it's $15. Really chill group of guys

Look up practiscore and AG3 (Atlanta 3 Gun) and USPSA. First Saturday of the month. No match in January. Shoot pistol or PCC or both separately. Great guys, strong on safety, very helpful. All you need is a holster and enough magazines..you can add as you grow. The outdoor matches are awesome.

Riverbend gun club hosts the premier uspsa match in Georgia. Great competitors. Great stages. Lots of pew pew for your $20. 6 stages minimum... Regularly 8 stages.

I might have to give them a try. Many clubs around here all seem to meet on Sundays, which are a no-go for me.
