so i’ve never really been into knifes but i came across a box full of old case knifes going through some old family boxes which had some vietnam service era stuff i’ve looked at a few of them but not in depth all i could really make out is CASE -XX they aren’t in the greatest condition all the handles are intact and in good condition but the blades themselves are a little crusty not rust just kinda grimy from the years of storage i’m assuming these are all pre 1980? i’m not 100% sure. i guess my question is are these valuable ? should i try and clean them or leave them alone ? there was also a KABAR folding hawk bill pocket knife and that one i’m truly lost on. any info is highly appreciated and i’ll probably add pics later today .
