Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I tried this today. I've been looking for a "plain" 10/22; went to Academy who had them advertised for $199.99, but didn't have any in stock. Went to Wally World- they did have one in stock, but list price was $234. I asked them if their price match guarantee extended to firearms. The clerk called a manager and said it did- if I had a copy of the ad. I asked if on-line ads count and showed them the one on my phone. They verified it by looking it up on their computer... and honored the price. I walked out of the store a happy customer.

Hats off to Wally World...

You got lucky. They're not supposed to match unless the competitor has the item in stock ready to sell. Makes sense though. If the other guys don't have it to sell, why match their price?

Now what really trips me out is Walmart absolutely will not price match their own website!? Needed a new GPS, found the one I wanted on their website, got in the store and it was $30 more than the website. Asked them to match it and the said no way.

1) Yep and 2) Yep. Those two things TOGETHER simply do not make sense either...
On the online price match thing, you CAN go on your phone and order it online and have it 'shipped to store' and then pick it up immediately. No logic...

The ship to store and immediate pick doesn't always work man. I drive a tour bus. I was out of town and needed a phone case. Price differance was $17. Bought it online with immediate pick up for the store I was parked at. After 5 hours of waiting they still hadn't had my order process and show up at the store. In the last 30 minutes before we had to leave it still hadn't. So I showed them the order, receipt etc. and ask if they could go ahead with it anyway and they wouldn't. I ended up having to wait 2 days for the "immediate pick up" order to complete online and cancel for a refund. Yes, this was after the GPS thing.

And yes, I picked up on your smart ass-ness there. So go ahead a do it your way posted and see how long it actually takes.
