Weatherby Vanguard 338WM

I really thought about it, but I'll pass.
Although the gun is dirt cheap, if I bought it, I'd be spending $900 this week.

Rifle + sales tax = $375
Scope base = $75
1" rings, steel, 2 screws per side = $60
Decent rifle scope for long range hunting = $300
3 boxes of ammo (200 gr., 225, and 250 gr. bullets) = $43 per box, or $129 total.

GRAND TOTAL: $939.

Add a sling and maybe a second stud up front for use with a bipod and we're pushing a THOUSAND DOLLARS.
I can't spend that for a "three-fifty" rifle.

I ended up buying this gun. It being a V1 action a weird cheap plastic stock similar to the V2 but, honestly not even that nice. It went straight into the safe, I'll be keeping an eye out for a long action stock and a respectable piece of glass that's buyer friendly. All in due time.
