Yea, why I stick with upper brands. I can't stand something that doesn't work properly.I had the tracker in 44 mag. Shot very well and handled recoil surprisingly well for being so light however it extracted shells like crap because the chambers were so roughly cut. Hopefully you have better luck than I did…

Been a good while back. I had something for sale, don't remember what it was. Anyway a guy wanted to trade me a Taurus 1911 and some cash. I bowed out because I'd never had a Taurus and I knew they were hit or miss.Late night shopping is my go to. More time to peruse the various websites without a lot of distractions.
Too many things to do during normal operating hours.
I've been looking for a decent price on a commander size 1911 which I don't need but want anyway.
Right!?!Guy with notoriously bad luck with firearms malfunctions buys Taurus 44mag in hopes this time will be different![]()

I was lucky enough to own a beautiful deep blue Raging Bull in .454. I’ve several large bore revolvers in my and this one was the most fun to shoot by far. The guys at our range always got a kick of firing off a few rounds. I had it for several years until a divorce forced its sell to pay off an ex. Thankful those days are gone but mine was one fine revolver.I wanted another 44 magnum handgun but I didn't want to spend over a grand this time. So I picked up this.
I always said I'd never buy a Taurus but reviews are pretty good on this thing and I just need something reasonably accurate, reliable, and to sling lead.
