the british have used what many call "obsolete rounds" for so long and made/imported so few arms that the prices are expensive for it due to the lack of firearms to shoot it in the country
mosins are the opposite, Russians flooded the united states with mosins and the 7.62x54r round is still fair priced even if many feel the round has been overshadowed

That's an Enfield. The Ishapore would be stamped GRI or RFI.
