So I got a beat up 7mm Chilean Mauser as a throw in a while ago. Today I finally got my hands on some 7mm headspace gauges. The bolt, which is an obvious mismatch, closes on the no-go. The gun is in extremey rough shape and not worth wall hanging, as you can hardly see the crest through the crud, and most of the wood is missing. My wife has instilled a "guns must fit in safe" limit, so its taking up a spot that could be otherwise occupied. Dremel time? Would someone actually want it? Other suggestions?
What to do with a gun that doesn't headspace?

Post some pics. It might be worth more parting out than keeping. To correct the headspace you'd have to try other bolts till you got one that headspaced or re-barrel.
Sell it on the ODT as a collectors piece. 
buy a bigger safe?
Post it for sale at 100, should go quickly as a project gun for someone
