What type/make mount is on this 1949 Model 70?

That’s a Bausch & Lomb BALVAR 8A scope and mount system. It is externally adjustable; the elevation and windage adjustments are made on the mount, and not internally in the scope.

Thanks. I couldn't find a maker's mark on the mount. Should have looked at the scope, LOL.
