whats your choice for defense ammo in your handgun ? and in what caliber do you trust your life with? ie. what you carry / lets see what the majority of us odt members use the most. im going to start , hornady critical defense / .40 cal out of my xdm 4.5 now for you..

Nah, for me it is about penetration. I had rather have a round go 3 or 4 inches deeper than a round open up a few millimeters.

Almost all of my pistols are 9mm. I either carry my HK usp fullsize 9mm, my beretta m9 or my glock 17. All would be loaded with federal HST. I have my glock 17 today. Loaded fully with HST.

For both my carry calibers: .40s&w & .9mm
