Does anyone know where you can donate old rods and reels? I cleaned out my pile, and have several that are just older, maybe 15 years or so. Nothing wrong. Lots of ugly sticks. I really don’t want to take them to goodwill.

Boy/Girl Scouts or 4H?
I'm in the same boat (so to speak) don't really fish anymore and have a bunch of rod&reels and other stuff.
Too lazy/busy for a yard sale and it doesn't really seem like something the charity I give to could use.
I hate to see good stuff just going to waste. There was a guy on here a few years ago looking for fishing stuff for their church youth group and something like that would be ideal.
Call Game Warden and see if they can use them for kids fishing rodeos
I know of a kid that would put them to use.
I've done the same thing. Also check with local cub scouts/boy scouts/ trail life groups.
