Where to hunt hogs without being in a club?

I usually hunt around the blairsville area. Seen quite a few hogs on hwy 180 that runs from just south of blairsville up across the mountain past brasstown bald and over towards Helen. There are quite a few gated roads that turn off the main road in the national forest where you can walk in. Probably the best thing you could do is get a map of the national forest and figure out where you can get in the easiest.

Hello all. I've been wanting to go hog hunting for a while and can't find anywhere with numerous hogs that isn't part of a $700 hunting club or paid hunt.

Are there some WMA's or anything in the state where I can surely find some?

Usually a few HOGS running around Wally World. You might want to try that first. No license needed, but you might need a few beers!

My question would be, if you shoot a pig in those mountains and he runs or rolls downhill, how the heck are you gonna retrieve him? You better kill him DRT and not let him get up.
