Which Glock do you guys prefer for gaming?

I've been shooting the G34.5 in uspsa and idpa for a while now. I recently got to run a few drills with the G47.5 and felt a bit faster to me. Curious to hear what you all prefer and if you think it's worth picking up a 47. Does the fact that the 47 uses the 19 recoil system have anything to do with the way it feels? I might decide to keep my 17 and just use that

Long story short, it doesn’t matter. 17 is in theory slightly faster out of a holster, slightly “quicker” for transitions but unless you are a top tier guy, you won’t notice.

34 would be my choice for running irons though.

Only way to tell is get 47,17, and 34 and do drills with a timer but I bet your human error will be a bigger factor

It's all anecdotal. Longer site radius for irons is typically a little better. With a dot I don't think it matters. I found I prefer somewhere in the 4.25-4.7" slide length for dot guns.

I haven't shot a 47, but I prefer my 17.5 with how I have it sprung over my 34.

I'm not sure I love the idea of the 19 length recoil assembly in the 47, but I get why they did it. Just means I can't run the same fat tungsten guide rod and spring that I have in my 17.

I loved running my 17.5 in carry optics. I had picked up a G34.5 to try, and then setup a 5" pdp but have been so focused on my mma training I havent really shot a match in like 3 years lol. The glizzys are all stock other than maybe a minus connector in the 17. Tbh my 17 was my fav to shoot over all the other guns I had tried in the past.
