Who has shot/carried the G42?

Hickock45 has a good video on the G42.

We've got one in our rental stock that has ~300rds through it with various shooters and no issues. The recoil is very light, accuracy is typical Glock and personally I tend to push low left with it. Overall, I think it'll make a good pocket gun, it seems to be reliable and tough.

I have not shot one, but I have handled/inspected one.

I currently pocket carry a LCP Gen 2, my wife carries a Sig P238, and we have previously owned a Bodyguard .380. So, we've been around the .380 platform a time or two.

I love the G42. The fit in the hand, the ergonomics, the trigger and reset is superb. It is larger than the 3 mentioned above, but not crazy big.

This gun is screaming for 9mm, and no doubt we'll see it in the next year or two.

If the end all for you is size, then LCP is the way to go. But if you can give a bit on size, the G42 is the way to fly IMO.

I have shot the G42 a lot. It is awesome! The overall size is perfect!! It isn't too small for guys with big hands and it's not too big for ladies with small hands. The recoil is very light and manageable. The things I hate about every other .380 are long trigger travel, size, and reliability. The G42 outperforms all others in this category. The G42 has short and consistent trigger pull and trigger travel. It's a great size and most importantly it runs. I strongly recommend it. I'm buying one for my wife and for myself.
