I'll be hitting the woods in Cullowhee, NC this weekend. NOT...I'll be working with my daughter's marching band. Perhaps next weekend...
Looking forward to sitting in the hardwoods and watching the sunrise. Then, with luck, placing a .30/06 bullet through the high shoulder of that 150" beast I've been catching on trail cam. 8 days off to start the rifle season. Yep, it will be nice. Good luck to all!
My Dad bought me a pair of rattlesnake chaps and then two days ago gave me a new pair of Rocky snake boots. Saved me some change, and I am grateful. We have our share of snakes, believe me.
They are out there! I shot a little 2 foot timber rattler this weekend while leaving the stand and a buddy of mine ran into a big one too.
You guys be safe and good luck this weekend. I'm about to head out in a minute and won't be back til Sunday. In the meantime someone needs to start a bragging board. Let's see those pics!
