I need some tech help. Internet is loaded with 10,000 answers and none are exactly clear.
We have spectrum fiber. Had it for 3 years or so. I can stream tv on 3 tv’s with zero issue. I can use FaceTime, no issue. But I cannot get calls to work, even if everything is off, the signal seems to come and go in waves to the phones. Frequently get a call failed and dropped calls.
Spectrum has been out and ran speed tests, claim
There no issue. We have replaced the line from the road to the house, I have changed out the modem and router (both times with theirs) and no changes.
From reading, it sounds like maybe we have a weak WiFi signal. Seems odd because I can be sitting 3ft from the router and have the issue. I’ve been told that the google home boosters may solve the issue, but would like more feedback before I drop $150.
Does anyone have this issue? Anyone had the issue and solved it?
It doesn’t seem my neighbors have this issue. Also, we are lucky to get 1 bar of signal from the towers with AT&T or Verizon. We live in a dead spot so WiFi calling is the only option until they get a towel closer.
