Anyone ever create a longer AK stock from another stock? I think I have a stock from a Remington 700, and would like to craft it to fit an AK47. I don't care about the originality or the stock appearance, but just want something that fits nice and for the taller members of my family.
What is the best way to approach this? Have scroll saw, jig saw, and chisels. Am not an amateur when it comes to woodworking but not an artistic sculptor either.
