Hello, I'm new to the forums, I suppose I've been lurking around a year or so. I just got my GA Weapons Carry permit and want to celebrate by buying a good CCW 9 mm.

After a lot of research I've decided the Kahr CM-9 best suits my needs and budget. If you've got one you'll part with, I'm your man.

However, I'd also be pretty open-minded about considering another micro-compact 9mm. I'll take a Diamondback if I can get a deal on it. For the right price I might also consider a Ruger LC-9 or a Kel-tec PF-9 but these are a bit larger than I would like and I don't hear good things about the triggers. I believe I'd take a Ruger LCP or similar micro-compact .380 over these, and if I can get a good deal I might wind up getting one of these as well.

I'm in Alpharetta but willing to drive. I'm ready to buy today, so what do you think? Can you help me find a weapon?

Kahr CM9 is a great choice. I looked at every sub-compact 9mm out there and decided on a CM9 due to the lack of a safety and the size & feel of the gun. The price was great too, but not my first priority. I would stay away from a .380 due to the lack of stopping power. This is a highly debated subject, but I prefer the extra power myself. Ruger LC9 and others have a safety that you could find yourself fumbling with while the attacker is closing ground.

Good Luck

great gun, my wife has one and now i want one too, but cant afford it. check out cherokee pawn on alpharetta hwy, i think they have one, not sure if new or used but i have bought and sold there before, good people and they have some wiggle room on prices...at least more than most gun shops will.
