There was an on going post awhile back about yard sale finds couldn't find it so I'll start another one with today's find. Besides guns yard and estate sales are one of my favorite hobbies. Small Town I live near had a city yard sale today I also most didn't go but glad I did. Found a wood chest with small portraits of past presidents with a medal with each pic. I almost passed on it but it looked interesting. Price was $35 I offered $25 he took it. He said he new nothing about the set. I thought the medals were pewter and I guess he thought so as well. But each medal is marked sterling and weighs 1.2 oz. So around $2000 in silver content and I don't know about any collectibility.
