I PM'd him on 10/13 and offered his asking price. On 10/14 he replied and said he'd call me on 10/16 to set up a meet...he didn't call. I PM'd him on 10/20 to confirm he still wanted to sell it. He replied that he did and said he'd call on 10/21 to work out details...he didn't call. I PM'd him again on 10/25 and let him know I needed to the rifle for a hunting trip. He replied that he'd changed the rifle's status to "gone" but that he still had it and needed to talk his wife into letting him sell it.
Obviously he's not a man of his word. Do business at your risk.
