Seller offered an item, I was the first to contact him and offered to buy with a scheduled meet date one week out. I explained I was out of town. The response was "Yes, if they are still available. PM me a few days before and we can discuss. Best, Mike"
I then responded: " Well, if you are in agreement we call it a done deal. They are considered sold and we meet on November first for the swap.
That is what I'm asking you top do. With that can we say we have a deal. By saying yes you are assured they are sold pending meet.
Thanks."
Seller did not respond. A simple no thanks would have sufficed. Could have said, no I need to move it fast. Had I received a response I would have moved on. That is how a deal is, or is not made. You don't tell someone "If I still have it", then OK.
