Put an offer of $2400 towards his used P7 that he attempted to scalp on gunbroker. He counter offered with $2600.00 which I accepted. Then he wanted a Bill of sale with my personal info on it. Him being a brand new member and 0\0 I expressed *mild* concern about handing over someone I don't know my personal info. He offers me his name and linked in to "Verify" that he's a real person. Okay; whatever. So I accept the offer and then inquire if he would entertain any trades+cash towards the price. He ghosts me for two days and says he's "withdrawing my counter offer" "
I am back to looking for full price.
I appreciate your comments RE "me being new to this site", so any sale will be done through an FFL, and I will be using Johns Creek Indoor Range where Dejon handles all of their FFL transactions.
Thank you for your interest and have a great weekend."
So he gets upset because I express concern about giving personal info to a new member with zero feedback on a $2500+ purchase. I've had many dealings with many ODT members over the past 3 months handling $2000+ transactions regularly and never a hiccup and the key to success on this site is to understand that we treat each other neighborly here. Clearly this member is used to the impersonal and unprofessional methods that many gunbroker sellers partake in, Wish him the best in selling his listings.
