upon further inspection of the gun, it had rust on it and improper screws that broke off into the threads. Buyer beware, inspect your gun thoroughly before purchasing. The rust was not visible until I was able to remove the optic at home. The seller should have known that there would be rust since he opted to not have the cut area protected and didn't disclose that.
