Old fat & ugly.... I grew up with surplus guns and ammo all over our old farmhouse. Mausers. Springfields, Trapdoor Krags, octagonal barreled rifles from the 1800's, Large brown metal boxes of British .303 to sit on, surplus ammo everywhere at about $.03 around or so. My stepfather was one of the original (FFL) dealers licensed in 1968 or so to sell guns and ammo. He was in the U.S. Navy at Iwo Jima and NEVER spoke of his experiences before passing in 1977. We grew up with guns as a way of life. I wish everyone understood. Most don't.
