    Here's the last day of the first split of the waterfowl season. We made a move to a beaver swamp in hopes of getting some wood ducks. Can we, amature duck & goose hunters, end the season with success?

    Very nice! We go out there once or twice a year and have done the same thing with snow geese. They make some great summer sausage for sure.

    I've found that you either have to know someone with a private pond or beaver swamp or have a boat of sorts to access public water. Being that it is GA and not a flyway it is challenging at the very least, but I am will you on finding a place that hunt them on a lease of sorts that is dedicated...

    It's definitely messed with my deer hunting. I really enjoy it more and more each year. 4 years in so far.
