1996 tahoe $1000 PRICE DROPPED

picked up this tahoe durring some horse trading ( im sure most the guys here can relate to that) but i really really can not afford the gas right now so it remains parked ...it has some dings and scratches and shows its age ...but it has a new-ish 350 in it and the body and interior are in pretty good shape ...the transmission does not slip or anything but it wont go into reverse ... somone could porbably fix this transmisson with ease and have a good truck at a great price ... $1000 firm for more pics text 9122783917

lol i have a horse shoe drive way and dont my local seed and feed has a big parking lot ...so ive never had a problem with it ... the guy i got it from said it might be an issue with the linkage ? once again im not a car guy so thats all greek to me

Sounds like the sun shell is broken inside the transmission. Pretty common with that trans

thats what my research pulled up also ... i figure since its an extra vehicle i would rather sell if for much less than what its worth how it is and let someone else pay the few hundred dollars to get it fixed ... that gives you a great running tahoe with a new engine for around 2k ,,,cant beat that with a stick

but if no one is going to bite even with the price this low .. i might just have it fixed and go park it in the barn for those days when i need to pull the camper around
