Any Automotive Sound Experts out there ??

I'm going to take a look at those mono amps, the Bose head unit has a amp turn on relay that powers +12 to all the speaker amps about 2-3 seconds after the head unit is turned on, so no problem getting power either behind the head unit and it's already in the doors and rear hatch area. What I have to deal with is the darn head unit feeds a proprietary pre-amplified audio signal output to the door amp that amp then jacks it up and feeds the speaker (The speaker is 1 or 2 ohms and will have to be replaced). So it's not really a typical line in feed to the mono amp. Reading some of the old old stuff from 20-30 years ago, seems one problem adding a new speaker attached to an add on amp the volume goes from zero to 100% when increasing volume. I may be able to manage this with the left/right balance knob on the head unit. May just have to gamble on some equipment and experiment, most electrical stuff is not returnable.
