Anyone know a chimney guy?

My Son in law is based in Acworth and his company is called Sweepy Hollow.

He's worked for all the major hitters and started his own business after all the games of working for them.

He's a full service sweep and buildS fireplaces and chimneys from scratch.
No job too big or small and treats everyone like family.

Ask for Mike.

I've used these guys on 2 occasions. Great guy to do business with..

I have moderate creosote build up in a fireplace chimney.
Used every winter for 30 years and never been cleaned.
Looks like sbout 1mm thick layer, evenly distributed.

Good thread. I will try the Sweepy Hollow guy,as he is the closest. My wife hired a guy, can`t remember the name of the company. He wouldn`t get on the house. Tried to do our chimney from the bottom ,through the wood stove insert. Wife sent him on his way. So, I had to go back to doing it myself from a 38 foot ladder. The main reason I want a sweep is to clean the vent on top of the chimney. I also would like to replace the vent with a larger one.
