Selling "muzzle breaks" or something.....

An affidavit filed by an agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says that See told investigators that he has been making the devices for more than a year, then selling them on eBay for $50 to $80 apiece.

Although See calls the devices “muzzle breaks”, the ATF classifies them as unregistered silencers, bearing no serial numbers.

complete BS. they make the rules when they want them. until its a silencer, its a muzzle brake.
you can say "intent" all you want, but this slippery slope has consequences . this same freedom they used to lock this guy up, intent can be used for anyone. what about have an AR pistol and rifle? what if they are broken apart in your safe, or even together. whats stopping them from saying you are going to make an SBR.
these guys need some control.

Is there a separate sleeve to purchase? How is this a silencer?
nope, just a long muzzle break..
and just for the record, it is perfectly legal to buy parts for a suppressor. you just need to pay your freedom charge and put your number on it before you assemble it...
