More of a flyby.
E-2 almost became a ”Sea-2” Someone forgot to lower the tailhook.

Bet he got his wheels wet on that one. And probably his shorts.
That's when you clench the seat cushion with your *** and someone else has to pull it out for you.
Nope. The arresting cable snapped. You can clearly see the cable fail in the video at the below link. The pilot/crew was awarded the Air Medal for outstanding airmanship.

Actually, it was probably a planned touch-and-go, executed perfectly.
