Does Fallout (on Amazon Prime now) remind any of you nerds out there of the old Gamma World role playing game?

Watching it now, on episode 2. Reminds me of the Gygaxian 1978's post apocalyptic Gamma World game. Sort of campy but not too much.

So far so good.
