Dropping Directv. Thinking about a streaming service.

Thinking about switching to a Internet streaming TV like sling tv. for you guys that have dropped cable or directv what is your set up and why? I'm just tired of paying almost $100 per month for tv. I'm considering Amazon fire TV + hd antenna for local tv.

HD antenna all day long. Had mine for 7 years. I get all the locals..over 50 channels and stream everything else.

HD antennas ok, especially in ATL . Streaming sux. I still keep DTV because of that. Tried the stick with kodi loaded on it. It was terrible. Just my experience.

Isn't Kodi the app that streams movies filmed illegally that are still in theaters? Sure...the app itself isn't illegal, it just gives you the ability to watch illegally recorded movies. It's like having a gasoline pipeline through your backyard with an unregulated pump installed....would you take gasoline?

Buy a FrogTV box about $70 it's legal and you can watch anything you want and no ongoing fees. Google it.

I dropped satellite back to the basic dish package and go with Amazon Prime/Roku. Roku is 100 times better than firestick. Many more options.
