They have free shipping today and 5% off of all of their NEW 9mm ammo.

Just ordered the 500 bulk pack of Remington that they have posted on there for $94 a box/ 500 = $0.188/ rd

I think the 5% off ends tonight on the 9mm ammo.

I ordered a bunch of ammo on September 5th. I cancelled the order yesterday after I called to find out what the hold up was. The answer was soon. The same answer I got when I called to check on September 12th. IMHO Freedom Munitions is not the place to buy from.

They used to have fast shipping. Now, since they get orders more than they can handle, more and more customers are staying away from them.

FYI for reloaders: Freedom's "American Steel" branded ammo uses brass plated steel cases. Headstamp is "FM". Myself and another ODT'r decided to find out how the cases handled reloading. We reloaded the same 10 cases five times without issue, except for one case that had a loose primer pocket. We could have kept going and reloaded the same cases again, but felt like we had proved the point. It's nice "brass." Doubt it will hold up as long as regular brass, but it can be reloaded.

New factory ammo is probably ok, but I will not buy their reloads again. Oddball headstamps & split cases.
