Item Description: This is a great looking JM Marlin lever gun (with cross bolt safety). Bore is bright and strong and looks new. It has been detail stripped, cleaned, lubricated, and the wood has been reworked...had a hand rubbed BLO finish applied for a classic look. This gun is in fantastic condition and these 35s are getting harder to find...get it while you can. I will also include a brand new in box XS pic rail for scope mounting and 17 rounds of Remington corelokt 200 grain ammo.

Good price, I see it is after 1975, but do you know the year, or the first two numbers/letters of the serial number?

I looked around and .35 ammo is getting hard to come by as well. Is it just a harder hitter than the 30-30? How's the recoil?

Yes it packs more punch with a little more recoil.
