Yep, it was available in both calibers

NHM is a different AK factory in western China near Mongolia. It's Nam Hung Manufacture I believe

The thumbhole stock looks like an NhM for sure. The threaded barrel also leads me to believe it is. I prefer them to a standard Mak90.

Ok. I normally see them in 5.56 so I didnt know they came in 7.62x39. Damn... now I want one. wish I had the money or option to trade.

It's a Norinco Mak 90...it has a thread protector on the barrel...never had it off...the furniture is so, so...I normally remodel these puppies in black!
