I have a Surefire M500 AR-15 light with the KX9-A lamp. This is an 800 lumen light that is fully contained in the attached handguards. No wires or plugs to mess with. This takes 3 CR123 batteries, (I’ll include 6 batteries), and is super bright. It has a kill-switch to prevent accidental activations, and a separate set of low power LED ‘navigation’ lights from a separate switch.
