Item Description: Husqvarna YTH 24V48 with the Briggs engine. Only has 158 hours on it but the deck has broken 3 times. Both rear deck supports have snapped and the metal reinforcement on the bottom of the deck came off. This is 100% my yard being too rough and uneven for the equipment. One side was welded by Macon Outdoor Power and the bottom of the deck was also fixed by them. This time when the support on the other side snapped I just decided to get a new mower. If you can weld you can likely get this deck working again. And if you have a flat yard it might even stay working!
The rest of the mower is in excellent condition and it runs great. Parked in my basement when not in use cutting grass. Oil and filter were changed yearly along with the fuel filter. Air filter was changed as needed. It got new plugs last year right before the deck broke the last time. It also has a new battery as of last year. The only other issue is the throttle/reverse pedal position needs to be adjusted. The last time it was at the shop it came back with the pedal moved a bit so that engaging reverse doesn't have much power due to pedal travel. Oh and the left front tire has been patched but it holds air fine now. 90% of the gas put in this mower was 91 octane Pure Gas with no ethanol. From the Chevron at Tom Hill. For the last few years that's all that's ever been in it.
You have to come get it. I don't have a trailer. In north Macon not far from the Bass Pro. $450 cash. Might consider trades. Doesn't hurt to ask but I may say no.
