Item Description: I have a nice vintage tweed & leather hard case lined in a cushioned red velvet/velour ?? (cushioned foam) with 3 latching locks, leather covered handle & ends. Interior measurements are: length 38-1/2", width 7 1/2", depth 3".......it holds a Marlin 336 or Winchester 1894 with no problem, it would easily hold longer take-down firearms also. NOTE: Replacement of damaged firearm wood will cost a lot more than this case
