Let me tell you, you'll be missing it if you don't get the handguard. That's what make it dynamite. I built one like this for pistol caliber 3 gun matches and put a red dot type sight on top and a TLR 1 underneath and it's awesome. With the handguard able to be turned it still folds. With the 33 round magazine it's a blast. AT 50 yards you can shoot the bull out of the target.
