Item Description: Up for sale is a Truglo Tac 1-6x24 illuminated Green/Red Mil-Dot scope. I got this in a trade with another ODTer, and I'm going with something a little higher in magnification. It comes with all box, docs, 223 and 308 turret adjustments, flip caps, and a cantilever mount. Trades are welcome, just pm any offers. Also have a Nikon Prostaff 5 3.5-14x50 BDC reticle scope for sale will all box, docs, etc... Can combine the 2 in a trade if you're interested.

What level of magnification would you recommend for a good deer rifle?

Depends on what range you are typically shooting deer at. 3-9 is a pretty typical configuration for deer, but I know some that only use a fixed 4X scope. I also have a nikon 3.5x-14x(see link) that is a good deer scope.
