Item has been relisted, you can find the new listing at: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/ft-taurus-8r-ul-38-special-snubby-alnib.1697800/
Item Name: FT Taurus 85 UL .38 Special "Snubby" ALNIB
Location: CUMMING
Zip Code: 30041
Item is for: Trade Only
Trade Value or Items Looking For: See Below
Caliber: .38 Special +P Rated
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Up for Trade is my LNIB Taurus 85UL with Box and Docs.
This is definitely a good S/D pistol: Light Weight and Easily Concealed. A good safe and reliable choice for women. When loaded with 148 Grain Hollow-Base Wadcutters, it shoots extremely soft and without a loud report.
It is quite accurate at 21 feet (see a recent target that I shot with wadcutters and 135 Grain Full Metal Jacket ... Bottom Line: It shoots better than me! "Minute of Pie-Plate" is the goal that most have for a "Snubby"; this one will certainly do this if you do your part in aiming and shooting! The results would have been better if I had a good rest to shoot from! The bottom two "flyers" were as the result of me resting the sight at the bottom of the bullseye instead of exactly where I wanted them to impact).
Looking for a 9mm pistol in the same condition +/- Cash as appropriate:
A Kahr P9 or T9
A Full Steel CZ with de-cocker would also work.
An EAA Witness (Steel Receiver) in 9mm would work as well.
Do not reply to this posting unless you are legally able to purchase and own a pistol. I will need to see your GA D/L and/or GA WCL.
