Jon Boat Trailer Help Needed

Got a decent 15'x40" Jon boat and I now need to find a trailer.
Where in middle Georgia should I go for a new trailer?
If I can't do that, what should I look for in a used trailer and where?
I am going to outfit the boat at some point with a trolling motor and an outboard.
Any advice would be appreciated as I am a boat newb.

Thats a tough one. A new one will likely cost you more than the boat! Run an add in the WTB section, someone may have one. Took me a long time to get one and I had to do alot of work on it when I got it but I only paid $100 for it. If you want a new one, that should be easy.

I feel you pain. I've shopped for new trailers before with little success. Bought my current trailer mail order from an oldenkamp distributor. see http://www.magnetatrailers.com/

I believe used will be the way to go. Check marinas or anywhere with a boatyard.

I don't know about new, but you can find a good used one in the local shopper papers or CL for cheap to free under an old fiberglass boat. I was given mine. Pushed the boat off at the dump and kept the trailer.
PS..There is a trailer f/s about ten miles from me on the side of the road. I'll check /measure it .

Make sure if you buy a used trailer, bring tools, and grease the bearings before you pull it home.
