Doesn't ATF for for Executive Branch of govt (president)?

Couldn't the next president (not that they would) just tell 'em through executive order to reverse the decision? Kinda like the current president and the immigration thing?

It's truly sad how little I know about my own government!

Gun restrictions come at the federal level mostly, us gun owners have been having more success in the courts and state level

congress gave the atf the authority to regulate this type of laws, bans, etc. congress figured that if it was not for "sporting" puposes, then it didnt violate the constitution. call your congress critters and bitch at them !
