That’s absolutely right! I first figured on doing a nice european mount since I can do them easily. Also figured the dark antlers would pop with the white skull. My cousin however insisted I try my first deer shoulder taxidermy attempt. I have mounted a few small game critters but no deer yet. I know I can still crank out a nice euro if I royally screw up the shoulder mount. Just trying to keep the taxidermist from taking my $500. Its harder to come by these days.
