If you can't speak German or Japanese- thank an American soldier. If you can go to the church of your choosing, the corner store or read what ever you want- thank an American soldier. If you can sit at your desk and surf the web or do whatever makes you happy- thank an American soldier. While you sleep in your bed remember they slept in a ditch or under a truck or in a shelled out building so you could do whatever. They gave all for the same people who called them "baby killers" then voted for legal abortion to have the freedom and the right to do just that. If you came to this country (or your parents or grand parents) to escape poverty and oppression, remember who has defended that "last bastion of freedom" for over 200 years. There have never been greater giants among men than a U.S. Soldier

Thanks for the kind words, but those are Marines in front of that Amtrac, and Marines and a Pharmacist Mate (Corpsman) raising the flag at Iwo Jima, not soldiers. As a former corpsman and soldier, there is a difference.
