Got this today. Guess the Loneoak, AK plant has not yet changed hands.

Remington ammo will still be made. The parent co is Vista Outdoors but the Remington brand will remain. Remington firearms in the other hand looks like a slow motion train wreck. They are moving all production BACK to the union heavy, anti gun state of NY and closing the newer facilities.

Remington center fire is fantastic ammo. I've killed literally hundreds of critters with it. Super accurate, consistent ballistics and reasonably priced. Now the .22 is another story completely...it's mostly junk for sure!

Remington ammo was purchased by CCI parent Vista Outdoors, so it will be of the same quality as CCI rimfire ammo. They also own Federal, Weaver, Uncle Mikes, Bushnell, Butler Creek, Hoppe's, etc. etc.

Good quality stuff will come from Remington ammo.

Nothing will change at the Remington ammo plant. You can be sure with a $1 billion of backorders Vista won't be doing anything that will slow production down.
