Sleeping on Cots

So my air mattress finally spring a leak and it's got me looking at an upgrade. I've been looking at cot's for ease of use and fitting in smaller spaces. I have never slept on one and do not know how practical they are for sleeping on comfortably. Coming into cooler weather it will be getting very frequent use.
Do you have any brand recommendations? Style preference? Bass Pro? Cabelas? Academy? Sportsmans Warehouse? REI?
Any help is appreciated.

Get the widest one you can.

One with a pad is much more comfortable than one that is just stretched fabric like an old army cot. Plus the pad will be needed for insulation in cold weather or you will get really cold when the insulation of your sleeping bag gets compressed under you.

I use an old one from the 80s with the coil springs together and a padded top. They are surprisingly comfortable

The main reason I was looking to change out was during the summer time I was hoping being elevated on a cot would allow air flow to keep me cooler. Air mattresses are miserable in 80* temps. Again though never slept on one.

That price is awesome. I have a feeling I am going to get desperate on my way to Montana Thursday and just buy one at a retailer though.

we have used up 3 of the colemans from walmart in the last few years they have a little cushion with them.
