100% correct I missed one at 12 steps it will make you feel real stupid.

Done the same myself. Some chokes will have the pattern so tight that it’s almost like a shotgun slug at 10 yards.

If you’re a really good caller and can sit still and are very patient, hunt with an open choke. If you’re like me and need 60yd range, use the tightest choke you can get.
